Really cool game! I really enjoyed playing this, would have loved some epic music to create an even greater atmosphere. The different items and the crafting system was really nice and you kind of got to choose which stats you wanted to focus on, would also like to see more rooms to experience or maybe different floors. Overall a very fun and enjoyable game, keep up the good work :D

I don't know if you've heard of Game Development World Championship before (gdwc2019) but it's a competition for indie game developers where they can submit their games and it's free! It's great if you want some more visibility for the game and it only takes a couple of minutes to join :)

Hi, glad to hear you enjoyed my game! Thank you for the kind words. I'll check out the competition right now!

That's great! :D

Awesome prototype dude! It was a lot of fun and here are my critiques: no sound just really killed the mood (which is luckily a rather easy fix even if the music/sfx isn't your own). Also, I feel like the auto pickup was rather tedious by the end of the run. Also, a bug I spotted is the first enemy projectile never dealing damage.

On a positive note though I really loved the visual feedback I got from hitting enemies. The items being unique is fun and interesting trying to get the best stats. Sadly though the boss if you get the right gear is just pathetically easy due to bounce burn pierce and triple shot which is kinda disappointing after spending time getting the best stats out of your gear. Overall, A great prototype and am looking forward to new devlogs! Lastly, I really love the animations!

Also, just wondering, as a fellow developer how much experience do you have/ how much time are you spending on the project?

Hey, thanks for trying out my game! I'm going to be adding audio soon after I try to revamp the art. Enemies sometimes do 0 damage, because I give them a grace period when they spawn.  Thanks for all the kind words.

I took one student-led class in game development, and this is my first game that I created on my own. I am spending around 5 hours a week on the project. I would spend more, but I am currently working a full time job. After this summer, I'll be starting my second year in college, and I'm aiming for 10 hours a week.
